Diabetes poses significant risks during pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period. Yet, many patients enter pregnancy without adequate metabolic control, and systemic barriers often prevent optimal care coordination. The clinical complexities of managing diabetes across the perinatal timeline, including preconception counseling, glycemic targets during pregnancy, delivery planning, and postpartum follow-up will be discussed.</p> <p><strong>Objectives<span class= "Apple-converted-space"> </span></strong></p> <p>1.
