Welcome to Media Made, the show in which we, year by year, explore the movies, music, and TV that most invaded our lives!
Hosts Rod and Jess discuss the media that made them in this elaborate couple's exercise turned podcast. Help them decide who has better taste and who won each year overall!
Media Made is going back 50 YEARS to talk three 1976 movies! And we're not alone! For this special show, Rod & Jess are joined by one of our podcasting heroes, Diana Goodman (former co-host of ThirtyTwentyTen)!
The format is simple: We're covering a feel-good, a feel-bad, and a feel weird.
Feel-Good: Sylvester Stallone's breakthrough hit Rocky. 😀Feel-Bad: The alarmingly prescient media satire Network. 😫Feel-Weird: Bugsy Malone, a mobster musical starring only children. 😵
An incredible conversation with an incredible guest. We hope you enjoy!

Media Made is back... at least for today!
In what was meant to be our annual April Fools' show, Rod & Jess have finally returned to the studio to look back at the webcomics that most invaded their lives! They are digital natives, after all.
First, we explore the world of Korean webtoons with one of the biggest names in the genre, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. Then, we head all the way back to 2009 to revisit the internet phenomenon that was Homestuck. (It just so happens that today, the 13th of April, is that comic's birthday.)

Concept Album Spotlight - Ayreon's The Theory of Everything!
Media Made is BACK with another Concept Album Spotlight!
No, we're not coming back from hiatus just yet. But with our pal Michael back in town recently, Rod decided to set up the mics and discuss another concept album with him.
This time around, the guys are taking a look at Ayreon's 2013 rock opera epic The Theory of Everything. If you like metal, prog, physics, mathematics, or family strife, you're sure to find something fun in here. Give it a listen!
