Prophecies about Israel’s coming Messiah are all throughout the Hebrew Scriptures, but Isaiah 53 is such a concise and precise description of this Messiah, who sounds just like Jesus! Written about 700 years before Jesus’ birth, we all - Jew and Gentile alike - can find comfort in the reliability of God’s Word and His promises for us. Meet Jesus in the Hebrew book of Isaiah and meet people who have met Jesus! We all need this Messiah.
Episode 76: "A Beautiful Display of His Splendor" with Scarlet Stearns

Episode 75: "Jesus is Our Perfect Husband" with Krisy Holland
About a year into widowhood, Krisy was given a gift from someone she hardly knew at just the right time.
"I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation; He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and a bride adorns herself with her jewels." Isaiah 61:10 (ESV)
"Fear not, for you will not be ashamed; be not confounded, for you will not be disgraced; for you will forget the shame of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more. For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is His name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth He is called." Isaiah 54:4-5 (ESV)
Krisy Holland is the founder of GenHerosity (https://genherosity.com), a meeting space for single women to discover their God-given and to connect with aligned Kingdom Impact Partners already doing the work He's placed on her heart. She is an entrepreneur and has worked with several ministries, most recently Oak Tree Ministries (https://oaktreeministries.org) in Gate City, Alabama.

Episode 74: The Gospel According to Isaiah
In a day where it is hard to distinguish fact from fiction, the Gospel shines even brighter in the Hebrew book of Isaiah. Trace the Good News of the Messiah, written 700 years before He came.
"Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;
yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions;
He was crushed for our iniquities;
upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
and with His wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned - every one - to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."
Isaiah 53: 4-6 (ESV)
