Men of Low Moral Fiber

About Men of Low Moral Fiber

Jason, Ben, and Corrigan play classic LucasArts video games (and related games) and talk about them. They cover the history, gameplay, and the most difficult puzzles from those old adventure games you love. Monkey Island, Indiana Jones, Sam & Max, and Day of the Tentacle are all covered here, plus a few insights, interviews, and some snazzy music. Plus a bunch more of course. New episodes up monthly. Relive your youth or someone else’s!

   The Last MOLMF

Hey all, thanks for joining us along this journey for the last 9 years. We stared Men Of Low Moral Fiber when I was 30 years old and I just turned 39, so all of my 30s were consumed with recording MOLMF episodes, editing them, publishing, planning, scheduling, and playing the actual MOLMF games. It was exhausting and exhilarating and I'll never forget it...aside from all of the stuff I forgot along the way. The whole idea was to do this as a community, focus on relationships, and have a little fun along the way as an excuse to stay in touch. It was one a lovely time full of learning, hilarity, entertaining moments, frustrating puzzles, obscene duck and chicken censors, lots of stupid musical segments—complete with equally stupid musical theme songs, and an insightful guest or two along the way. All in all we covered 90 full game episodes, plus 39 Side Quests, holiday episodes, and random interviews and shorts along the way. If you were one of the special people who celebrated these classic games along with us, we thank you. It's been real, but now we're closing up shop. Don't worry though, I'll be playing Outer Wilds, Inscryption, and Balatro FOREVER...just not recording episodes about them. Or at least not publishing them. We'll miss you all. Now that the games and episodes are over, I hope we can still stay in touch. —Ben Of Low Moral Fiber (Corrigan and Jason say goodbye too)

Ep 90: Thank Goodness You're Here! - Unexpected Body Horror and Goop

This game is a delight. Hope you get a chance to check it out. Plus there aren't really any spoilers so feel free to listen then play it—it's only 3-4 hours anyway. Enjoy! After some bonding and bff-ing Corri and Ben finally get to talking about the game (10:00) before talking about the actual development shortly after and eventually getting the gameplay (26:15). They play a rousing round of "What's The Drink? What's The Song?" (58:30) before taking a trip to the Recommendation Station (1:10:00) and talking about next month's game, which we're very excited about. As always, thanks for subscribing to MOLMF! We really do appreciate you!
