Meron ba Talagang Mental Health Issues sa Bata? with Eli Abela and Kai Villanueva
00:08:24 – Importance ng first six years at paano naapektuhan ang development kapag walang sense of safety
00:10:46 – Sound exposure during pregnancy at epekto nito sa nervous system ng fetus
00:13:00 – Role of mothers during pregnancy and early childhood
00:17:47 – Zero to three years old: Dapat talaga close contact with Nanay
00:21:36 – Biology 101: Nervous system is only about danger or safety
00:23:09 – Pag hindi na-address agad, pwede mauwi sa “constellations” (a.k.a. mental health concerns)
00:27:51 – Behavioral signs ng bata kapag laging nasa fight or flight
00:48:07 – ADHD, eczema, and other behaviors as survival responses
00:53:23 – Autism explained through biological conflicts and the importance of perception
(Spoiler: start with the mother)
01:04:04 – Everything boils down to one thing: Safe ba o hindi?
Tara, pakinggan natin ‘tong episode na ‘to.
Dahil sabi nga ni Eli: “It all starts with the nest.”

This Podcast Is Not for Everyone And That’s the Point | Kai Villlanueva
------ SPECIAL EPISODE ------ Mental Health Ka Diyan isn’t here to tell you what to think or give you a 60-second answer to everything. 😅
In this solo episode, Kai gets personal about what this podcast actually stands for: taking accountability for your emotions, learning to regulate them, being more intentional about the content you consume, and staying open to different perspectives on mental health and healing. Because minsan, hindi sapat ang “gets ko na ’yan” after one Reel.
We need context, discernment, and yes… konting tingin din sa sarili natin. Aray. 😬 If you’re willing to ask deeper questions, explore different perspectives, and take more agency over your own well-being, this conversation is for you.

Ano Ba Talaga Ang Toxic Positivity?
