"No" doesn't mean "Never" - Persevere in Christ's calling
Deacon Gary Wolfe was born in Gary Indiana, the 4th of 5 children. He attended St. Mary School in Griffith Indiana and Bishop Noll Institute in Hammond and continued his education studying Electrical Engineering at Purdue University in Hammond. He's been married for 29 years to Julie and have 3 sons and 4 grandsons. After a powerful encounter with Christ in my early 30's, Gary entered the Lay Ecclesial Ministry program for the Diocese of Gary then following with the Deacon Formation program. He was ordained as a Permanent Deacon on June 4, 2022, and serves at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Schererville where he has been a parishioner for 25 years. Gary also serves at St. Anthony Majestic in Crown Point where he visits around 20 residents weekly bringing them Communion and the Love of Christ. At his parish of St. Michael he is responsible for the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and works with our other Deacon Ron Pyle to recruit, train and schedule Altar Servers, and have been very involved with the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). He is the contact person and a minister for the Unbound Freedom in Christ Ministry.

Build up other women, build the Kingdom.
Mary Jo Parrish is a passionate disciple, wife, mother of ten, and the founder of Kingdom Builders, a national Catholic non-profit for women. She has been a teacher of the Catholic faith for over 15 years. Her Teachings, shared at monthly Kingdom Builders Gatherings, lead hundreds of women to apply Scripture and the lives of the Saints to everyday life. By telling humorous and humbling personal stories of how God allows beauty to rise up out of the mess, Mary Jo combines the sacred and the silly for a time of laughter, learning, and love of the Father.

Why become a Catholic? Arvin's Story: the 1 in the 99
It was such an eye-opening and incredibly humbling opportunity to interview Arvin Chan about his conversion story. Whether you are a cradle-Catholic or someone perhaps on the fence about converting to Catholicism, this conversation will resonate with you. God keeps on inviting us to come and see, and He provides the right guides and teachers when we are ready. Arvin is a true testimony of that constant calling and seeking of the one among the 99.
