[…] I understand why that was a theory. It doesn't make sense that a hitchhiker would order Susan to pull over on a highway where there's a Mustang a few hundred feet away. And If there was someone trying to run them off the road or get the girls to pull over, why risk it at that time with a Mustang parked there? And this just has me hung up on details where the only thing that makes sense is just bad timing. The killer maybe didn't realize there was a Mustang there until it was too late and Susan had already pulled over. But the presence of the Mustang and the three guys sleeping in it just brings in another element that offers up a lot of questions. […]
