<p style="color:#333333;font-weight:normal;font-size:16px;line-height:30px;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;hyphens:auto;text-align:justify;" data-flag="normal"><span>现代作家李劼人，一八九一年生，四川成都人。一九三六年春，日军飞机轰炸成都，李劼人从城内疏散到郊外沙河堡乡间，后在一菱角堰边建筑了自己以黄泥筑墙、麦草为顶的栖身之所，他在门楣上还题了“菱窠”匾额。菱是一种生在池沼中，根扎在泥土里的草本植物；窠即鸟虫的巢。作家将自己的家以“菱窠”名之，颇有竹篱野舍的逸趣，或许也蕴涵了这位被誉为乡土小说作家植根民间的文学理想。一九五九年，李劼人用稿费将故居翻建成今天这个一正一厢带阁楼的样子。他在此一共生活了二十四年，直至一九六二年去世。其间，他创作了反映解放前夕畸形经济和畸形人性的长篇小说《天魔舞》，修改重版了长篇小说三部曲《死水微澜》《暴风雨前》《大波》，它们以成都为背景，真实而深刻地描写了从甲午战争到辛亥革命前后二十年间广阔的社会生活及历史巨变。一九八六年十月，巴金重访“菱窠”，他曾感喟道，要保护好李劼人的故居，因为，“只有他才是成都的历史家，过去的成都都活在他的笔下。要让今天的旅游者知道成都有过这样一位大作家。”</span></p><p style="color:#333333;font-weight:normal;font-size:16px;line-height:30px;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;hyphens:auto;text-align:justify;" data-flag="normal"><span>李劼人先生是我国著名的文学家、翻译家，一生留有五、六百万字的著作和译作。他的大河小说三部曲《死水微澜》、《暴风雨前》、《大波》已经成为传世之作。李劼人先生被他的同学郭沫若称为“中国的左拉” ，他的三部曲被郭沫若誉为“小说的近代史”。 李先生从1935年起写了三个连续性的长篇《死水微澜》、《暴风雨前》和《大波》（第一部），描写辛亥革命前的社会生活。这三部小说都以作者的故乡四川为背景。</span></p><span><br /></span><br />
