MAAM Commentary Buddies #001: Child’s Play 3 — Commentary Track

Remember when DVDs came with commentary tracks and you could watch a movie while listening to the people who made it? Yeah… we miss that shit too. So we decided to make our own. For the first Middle-Aged & Mediocre Commentary Buddies episode, Cash and Joel sit down with Child’s Play 3 and provide our own completely unofficial commentary track. Movie trivia, dumb observations, questionable opinions, random tangents, jokes, nostalgia, and plenty of moments where we wonder who the hell thought some of this was a good idea. How it works: Fire up Child’s Play 3 on Netflix, hit play, start this episode, and watch along with us. We're not here to explain the movie—we're here to talk over it like the two idiots sitting on the couch next to you. Grab your movie, grab your snacks, and watch Child’s Play 3 with Middle-Aged & Mediocre. 🎬 Movie: Child’s Play 3 🎙️ Commentary: Cash & Joel 🍿 Format: Watch-Along Commentary We don't own Child's Play 3, and this is not an official commentary track. Netflix... Explain Yourself. | Matchbox Movies, Resident Evil & Guessflix!

Netflix... explain yourself. This week on Middle-Aged & Mediocre, we're diving into some of the strangest decisions in Hollywood. We kick things off by trying to make sense of the bizarre tagline for Ebenezer, debate whether the world really needs a Matchbox movie, and share our thoughts on the upcoming Resident Evil film. Then it's time for another round of one of our favorite games, Guessflix. Joel challenges Cash with three movie pitches, and Cash has to figure out which one is currently in the Netflix Top 10, which one is streaming on Netflix but isn't trending, and which one Joel completely invented. Think you can do better? Play along before the answers are revealed. Along the way, we talk about 10x10, Voicemails for Isabelle, Stolen Baby, and Joel's hilariously fake creations: Brotherhood starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Room To Grow starring John Cusack. If you love movies, streaming, pop culture, ridiculous debates, and two middle-aged guys with questionable judgment, you've found your people. Middle-Aged & Mediocre is a weekly comedy and pop culture podcast covering movies, TV, nostalgia, true crime, strange and unusual stories, internet rabbit holes, and whatever random topic grabs our attention. Every episode is packed with laughs, hot takes, original games, and conversations that somehow go completely off the rails. Subscribe, follow, and come embrace being gloriously mediocre.
