Welcome back sickos were here for a second attempt at this long awaited episode. After some tech malfunction with our first try, we found some luck with this one. A month or so ago Nellie was contacted via Facebook about an acting role. Needless to say we were a bit nervous about responding at first, but took a chance. Shot entirely on an iPhone with a crew of three people movie magic was made. I would best describe the film as drama/suspense shot in southeast louisiana . What these guys were able to do with an iPhone was pretty incredible I must say. They knew what they wanted and didn’t settle until the scenes were just right. Shane’s scene involved a violent encounter that we were nervous would spawn the attention of our neighbors. However the night was a success, and were excited to see the final result. Survive the Night should be available soon on Tube. We will keep everyone posted!

Stay hungry sickos / Nellie B and Steven Sane

This is a public episode.
In the spirit of the current state of affairs, we dissect the implications of the religious exploitation genre and the evolution of Rapture movies. Despite its far fetched plot lines, one-dimensional storytelling, and often lack luster quality, they seem to be fairly successful. Where does the line lie between art and propaganda? Where will you be when Jesus comes back? We’re pretty sure we’ll still be here after this episode.

Thanks for listening!

Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok for fun behind the scenes shenanigans.

Be sure to subscribe to our Substack and like and comment on this episode!

This is a public episode.
When the S-Town podcast aired it was downloaded millions of times in just a few days. It follows the story of John B Macklemore , a reclusive antique clock restorer who lived in the small town of Woodstock Alabama. He contacted the host of This American life podcast Brian Reid about a potential coverup of a supposed murder in his town. All which turned out to be false but someone would end up dying before the podcasts conclusion. Talks of a mini series are in place, but who knows what could happen. Would you like to see S-Town made into a film series? Let us know in the comments!

This is a public episode.
