Midnight Society Rejects

About Midnight Society Rejects

Join B.J. and Sarah each week as they toss the midnight dust into the fire and revisit the eerie world of Are You Afraid of the Dark? From Zeebo the Clown’s haunting giggle to the twisted grin of the Ghastly Grinner, they’re deep-diving into every tale that kept us up at night. Whether you’re a ‘90s kid reliving your goosebumps or just B.J. and Sarah’s moms (as always, thanks for your support!), this is your campfire call. (And no, they are not bitter about having their stories rejected by The Midnight Society. Not bitter at all.)

Midnight Society Rejects presents, "The Tale of Badge"

You know how it is: your little brother wins the science fair, it’s your birthday, your parents make you babysit—and then a sinister spirit awakens, leaving you to clean up the mess? Neither do we. But Gwen sure does. Tune in as Sarah and BJ talk buffets (again), talents, and why this may be one of the wackiest episodes in Are You Afraid of the Dark? history.

Midnight Society Rejects presents, "The Tale of C7"

Sarah and BJ are back to talk lakes, jukeboxes, time warps, and why you should never shame a child for not knowing how to swim. Also: water wings never hurt anyone. Don't touch that dial; don't select that song. Instead, listen in for “The Tale of C7.”

Midnight Society Rejects presents, "The Tale of Prisoners Past"

Sarah and B.J. are back! Again! Because it's Thursday and what else are they doing? This week, they discuss the finer points of Alcatraz escapes, ponder the relationship of stepbrothers, and recap "The Tale of Prisoners Past" which features a pair of (you guessed it!) stepbrothers who have a ghost to deal with in a prison a little (dare we say a lot?) like America's most famous island clink. Tune in. Then throw away the key.
