About Midnite Snack
Midnite Snack is a short-form interview series that features authentic conversations with technology leaders, innovators, and changemakers in a relaxed, engaging setting. Instead of asking the typical question, “What keeps you up at night?”, Midnite Snack asks a different one: “When you're up at night, what's your midnight snack?” Each episode centers around the guest's favorite late-night snack while exploring their career journey, leadership lessons, industry insights, personal stories, and the ideas shaping the future. The format is intentionally conversational, fun, and unscripted—designed to reveal the person behind the title. I’m the host, Frank Rains Jr. I am also a technology advisor, emcee, speaker, actor, improv comedian, and singer — blending business insight with creative expression. Subscribe for smart fun, memorable stories, and a fresh look at the people shaping the future.

Ep. 12 | Frank Rains, Sr. AKA "Mr.Echo" - Retired Exec w/Boy Scouts of America
Today’s Guest: Frank Rains, Sr.! AKA “Mr. Echo” and retired Executive with the Boy Scouts of America – also….my dad! Frank, known to many as “Mr. Echo,” is a 95-year-old Air Force veteran, entertainer, and retired Boy Scouts of America leader with a 30-year career in leadership. Over the years, he appeared on national television programs including The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Mike Douglas Show, showcasing the unique simultaneous-talking talent that made “Mr. Echo” memorable. I had such a fantastic and memorable time chatting with my dad over a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! I can’t think of a better way to celebrate one year of Midnite Snack than by honoring my dad, hearing some of his incredible stories, and sharing his one-of-a-kind talent with others. This one is pretty special to me.
