[…] I never went into the hospital. I very much considered not testing as well with the pregnancy test. And I would say this is one of the artifacts of the dogma of free birth society that registers at a very, very deep cellular level for me, the amount of shame that I felt that I went to Walgreens and got a pregnancy test. Totally. Like, actually, when I when I think back to that night, because I because I was tracking my cycle, I really knew my chances at that point in time. And, you know, if I had held out for a few more days, I would have technically had confirmation on my chart. But I just felt like that was my first transgression against myself in the light of. the free birth teachings, not free birth teachings, free birth society teachings, which is that I didn't trust my body.
