Now, before we can learn more about what went on in the Ditto house that night, we need to leave California and head south to Mexico, where on September 26th, 1972, Karina Peña Benitez was born in Mexico City to her parents Silvia Benitez Gonzalez and Gerardo Peña Lopez. Her family eventually moved to La Paz, a picturesque coastal town on the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, and there she lived with her four siblings and worked at a bookstore in the tourist town next to the Aqua Blue Bay.
