How the Harrier Redefined Modern Air Power
Find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl4Buy-ZX7k
From Cold War hover rigs to the dust-stripped battlefields of Afghanistan, the Harrier Jump Jet redefined the boundaries of combat aviation. Developed by British engineers with the revolutionary Pegasus engine, the Harrier became the world's first operational fixed-wing V/STOL aircraft—capable of vertical takeoff, close air support from improvised sites, and dominating airspace from the decks of small carriers. This documentary charts the full arc of the Harrier's remarkable journey—from the experimental P.1127 and the RAF's first GR.1s, to the Sea Harrier's dogfights over the Falklands, and the AV-8B Harrier II's frontline deployments in the Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Along the way, we explore the technical brilliance of vectored thrust, the unique demands placed on Harrier pilots, and the legacy this aircraft leaves as it is phased out in favor of the F-35B.

Viper Zero: Japan's Mighty F-2 Fighter | FS-X Evolution of the F-16 Viper
Find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLFZNy12p_U
Developed from the F-16 but built to Japan's unique strategic needs, the Mitsubishi F-2 stands as one of the most advanced multirole fighters in the Asia-Pacific. This video explores the origins, design, capabilities, and legacy of the F-2—often referred to as the "Viper Zero," a nod to both its F-16 lineage and Mitsubishi's WWII heritage. In the early 1980s, Japan sought to revitalize its aviation industry with a homegrown fighter. What emerged was a complex co-development program with the United States, transforming the FS-X concept into the F-2. Produced jointly by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Lockheed Martin, the F-2 entered service in 2000 and remains a linchpin of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) in 2025.
