Dr. Clint Cepeda "Dr. C", is an expert in associating mindfulness and how you can change your exercise output. How you exercise and the association of mental preparedness can be the difference between your health success or setbacks. Weight loss and your perception of your body image are something that many struggle with. We all talk about being better in our health practices but in most cases, it is just lip service for our mind. Change your mindset to change your life. There is an understanding that being fully aware of your training and fitness preparation is more than just motivation. Be mindful to be determined.
Using food as a reward is a psychological experiment that will yield negative results. This week, we take a look at the mindset failure when using food as a prize because of some fitness success. The truth is, you are exercising in vain by utilizing this method. The reward system that you put in place with this practice creates a training regimen as a game. Your health has basic rules of success. Exercising to treat yourself is not healthy or psychologically sustaining long term. Your fitness goals should never allow yourself to use food as the goal. A body that can afford to eat anything without guilt or shame should be. The reward you should emphasize is a fitness and health practice that is never based on a sweet tooth craving. Hearing Things To Feel Good About Yourself
There are many things we want to feel good about: a great first date, your wedding day, the birth of a child. However, feeling good about yourself is only fleeting. It is never permanent and in some cases, it can be detrimental. In the case of fitness and exercise, hearing good things about yourself is the wrong pillar for creating a foundational exercise program. As always of you have any more questions or have a question please feel free to reach out; drclintcepedawellness@gmail.com. As always keep training your tribe!
