[…] It works like this. One of us pretends to go fishing, when the howler comes out we run. We set off our lava moat and run deep into the base. When the Howler gets into the base, we run into the panic room. Once inside, we watch the Howler through the cameras. When the Howler tracks us to the room, we wait for the right time. If the Howler comes into the room, we can activate the alarm, and the loud sound should disorient the beast enough to make it stop moving. Then we activate the main pit trap and make it fall into a cobweb net, with arrows and lava and dripstone, that should fall and kill the Howler. […]
