Podcast Overview

Mission Shift is a narrative podcast exploring the changing face of global missions. Each season, we talk to Christian leaders and ministry practitioners around the world to learn about a pertinent topic, and then craft a narrative season which brings listeners along in our learning journey. Between seasons, we release long-form versions of our interviews as Bonus Episodes. We encourage you to start with Episode 1 of the Season you are listening to. Season 1 explores what is happening in global missions and the role past mission fields play as missionary forces. Season 2 (releasing in June 2023) explores power dynamics and partnership in global missions. We hope you will join us–and share Mission Shift with those around you–so together we can celebrate what God is doing around His world, and consider how we can make our best contribution in this exciting moment in global missions. Mission Shift is hosted by Carita Chen and Josh Irby, and is a production of Cru City's Global team. We would love to journey with you as you explore and engage in the changing face of global missions. Reach us at MissionShift@Cru.org.
