Dr John N Hamblin Evangelist Missionary Profile Podcast Season Three Episode 5

In this episode of the Missionary Profile Podcast, host Paul Douglas sits down with Dr. John N. Hamblin, a veteran evangelist who has been traveling, preaching revival meetings, conferences, and camp meetings across America for 47 years. Dr. Hamblin shares the story of his call to full-time evangelism, the burden God placed in his heart as a young man, and why he still believes revival is possible in America. The conversation covers the spiritual condition of our nation, the need for old-time Bible preaching, and the importance of churches staying faithful to soul winning, prayer, and the Word of God. This episode also includes practical encouragement for church members who struggle with fear in witnessing. Dr. Hamblin gives simple, helpful advice on passing out Gospel tracts, looking for open doors, walking in the fullness of the Spirit, and keeping a genuine concern for souls. Paul and Dr. Hamblin also discuss the influence of Dr. Tom Malone, his impact on young preachers, and what he would likely encourage, caution, and challenge churches about today. From strong preaching to biblical standards, personal soul winning, and old-time religion, this conversation is filled with wisdom for pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and young people sensing the call of God. Dr. Hamblin also shares personal thoughts about his family, his ministry legacy, his podcast Fundamentalism in Focus, and his desire to be remembered as a faithful preacher and soul winner. If you love revival preaching, personal soul winning, and the heritage of old-time fundamentalism, this is an episode you will not want to miss. Thomas Hawkins Samaria Prison Ministry Missionary Profile Podcast Season Three Episode 4

In this episode of the Missionary Profile Podcast, host Paul Douglas sits down with Brother Thomas Hawkins, a full-time missionary reaching inmates in prisons and jails across North and South Carolina. Brother Hawkins shares how the Lord used Scripture, personal trials, and years of faithful ministry to burden his heart for those many people may overlook. Brother Hawkins explains why prison ministry is a vital part of fulfilling the Great Commission. Inmates cannot come to the local church, so the local church must take the Gospel to them. This conversation reminds us that men and women behind bars do not merely need reformation; they need true transformation through Jesus Christ. You will hear about the importance of faithful prison outreach, the need for churches to be trained and consistent, and how local congregations can minister not only to inmates, but also to their families on the outside. Brother Hawkins also shares how believers can pray for inmates: that God would soften their hearts, remove distractions, and help them clearly see the truth of the Word of God. This episode is a powerful reminder that the mission field is not only across the ocean. Sometimes it is behind locked doors, inside local jails, state prisons, and institutions where souls desperately need the hope of the Gospel. Listen and be encouraged to pray, support, and consider how your church can have a faithful part in reaching the forgotten with the message of salvation. Les Butler Missionary Profile Podcast Season Three Episode 3

In this heartfelt, unique, and spiritually rich episode of the Missionary Profile Podcast, host Paul Douglas welcomes Southern Gospel broadcaster, singer, and preacher Les Butler for a powerful conversation centered on calling, endurance, and the eternal impact of Gospel music. From his early beginnings to a lifetime spent proclaiming Christ through song and preaching, Brother Les opens up about how the Lord led him into what became not just a career, but a true ministry. He shares how Gospel music has been a tool God uses to convict hearts, encourage believers, and even call individuals into full-time service. This episode draws a strong parallel between traveling music ministry and missionary deputation, as Les recounts the challenges of life on the road, including financial uncertainty, physical weariness, and spiritual battles, while also testifying of God’s faithful provision every step of the way. A particularly moving portion of the conversation centers around moments when the Lord used a single song to deeply impact lives, whether bringing someone to salvation or stirring a call to ministry. One such message is beautifully captured in the truth behind the song “How Much More,” reminding us that if God cares for even the smallest parts of His creation, “I wonder how much more does He love you and I.” That truth echoes throughout this episode. God’s love is personal, powerful, and ever present. Les also speaks candidly about the changes he has witnessed in Gospel music over the years, offering wisdom and caution for the next generation. His burden for preserving the integrity of the message is clear, especially as he discusses songs like “The Deal,” which boldly exposes spiritual warfare and the subtle tactics of the enemy in today’s media driven culture. Beyond music, Brother Les shares how God has used him in preaching and mentoring young artists, emphasizing the responsibility of passing down truth with clarity, conviction, and compassion. It reinforces the truth that every believer is called to be both a missionary and a pastor at heart, faithfully using their gifts to spread the Gospel and invest in eternity.
