   Yellowface by R. F. Kuang

Hello and welcome back! The girls are back to discuss another book by podcast- favourite author Rebecca F. Kuang, this time a modern literary fiction novel about an extremely morally- gray (dare we say evil) woman who plagiarizes her way through the high ranks of the publishing world. Listen as we discuss the rules of intellectual property, how much we hate June, and who gets the right to tell certain stories! We'll see you next month when we will be reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt!

   Sunrise on the Reaping

Welcome back to the arena, listeners! Character backgrounds are revealed, political subtext is read, everything is poisonous, and Snow is still unable to get over his one crush from high school. Ammu and Zoe praise the incredible Suzanne Collins, look at parallels, and try to find the saddest moment in the book. There are a lot of contenders. Like a lot, guys, this was seriously devastating. Read along with us next month! Our pick will be yellowface by R. F. Kuang!

   Daisy Jones & the Six

Welcome back! This month, we read the TikTok favourite, Daisy Jones and the Six by Taylor Jenkins Read. Questions are raised. Individuals are mocked. Was Daisy a feminist icon? Did Billy deserve Camilla? Were issues mishandled? And- most importantly- why does every lyric of the world's so- called best band read like a high school poet's idea of 'deep art'? Listen and find out!
