かみぴあ2 「上石津町牧田地区・上野八朔祭り」保存会リーダー木田さん
<p>岐阜県の西端にある上石津町。牧田地区に生まれ育った木田政利さん（７７）は、４０代の時に「カボチャ会」を立ち上げ、上野八朔祭りの保存に乗り出す。高齢化が進み、現役世代は故郷を離れる中、伝統を守るため地域の仲間を巻き込む努力を続けてきた。</p> <p>祭りは、関ケ原合戦の約50年後から始まり、今に引き継がれている。</p> <p>祭りが維持できるかどうかが、地域コミュニティーが生き残れるかどうかのバロメーターだと言われる。</p> <p>祭りそのもののことだけでなく、地理、古来の物流、周辺地域との関係性…などからひも解くと、興味深さが増してくるし、祭りの意義や価値についての理解も深まる。</p> <p>暮らし方や働き方が一気に変化しようとしている今、令和の時代なりの祭りのありかた、ひいては地域コミュニティーのありかたを再考するきっかけになるかもしれない。</p>
