The Missouri National Guard has released its sixth episode for Season 3 of "MO Guard TV", a half-hour television program showcasing the efforts of Citizen-Soldiers, Airmen and family members throughout the Show-Me State. The program, which has a news magazine flair, was developed by Maj. Gen. Steve Danner, the Missouri National Guard Adjutant General. His goal for the program is to give the public deeper insight into the National Guard's role at home and abroad. In this episode we feature the following stories: Missouri National Guard Military Police prepare for a deployment to Poland to participate in Exercise Anakonda, coverage from the 2016 TAG Match, Guardsmen from the 1138th Transportation Company conduct driver training, coverage of a Weapons Instructor Course at the Rosecrans, Missouri Air National Guard base, a heartwarming story about Staff Sgt. Keith Carter and how his Guard family and TRICARE medical benefits helped him through challenging times.

This special program is part of a new Missouri National Guard initiative to educate and inform the people we serve, roughly 6 million Missourians, as to who we are and what we do. The initiative, often referred to as "Guard TV," is an effort to better tell the story of the service and sacrifice of the Citizen Soldiers and Airmen of the Missouri National Guard. This program examines the history of the Missouri Guard, explains our dual mission (federal and state), and chronicles recent efforts of one of America's top military forces, both at home and abroad.
