ModChat 147 - Switch 2 Userland Exploit, ARK-5 for PSP, PS5 Emulation & Jailbreak Bounty

We've got a bit of everything this time around for ModChat! Recompilations are picking up more steam thanks to ModernGekko paired with DolRecomp. The 3DS gets a low level emulator, and the PS5 gets big news on TWO emulators! Both Switch and Switch 2 get a userland exploit teased on them. We've also got some substantial ports such as Unreal Tournament on the original Xbox, a whole Dreamcast emulator also for the original Xbox, and a Half-Life port teased for the PS1 of all things. Oh, and if you're smart with the PS5 and like money, you might want to stay tuned for the jailbreak bounty from FULU.

ModChat 146 - PCIe 3 SSDs on PS5, System246/256 Emulation, Bad Update Standby Mode, PS1USB Dev Cart

Looks like these hour or longer episodes might be the standard for ModChat now, huh? That's just how much has been happening recently! P2JB on PS5 gets ported to multiple entry points, but that's not all for the exciting bits! There's been discoveries made over how to get around the PCIe 4.0 SSD limitation the PS5 implemented, as well as some awesome further developments and applications being made to help the PS5 scene even further. The PS2 gets some arcade love thanks to the PCSX2x6 emulator, making System246 and System256 emulation accessible and possible. Bad Update or ABadAvatar users also get to see a whole new feature added to the Xbox 360 thanks to a standby mode being developed! The PS1 also gets some love between a solderless ODE and the PS1USB development cartridge. Tune in, listen, and enjoy for more modding news!

ModChat 145 - PS4 & PS5 Licensing Changes Explained, PS5 Linux Loader Released, 12.70 PS5 Jailbreak

More developments and releases surrounding mostly the PS4 and PS5 in this episode! This starts out with mentioning tico, an emulator frontend for the Switch which brings native GameCube and Wii emulation to the Switch in a recent update. The PS4 and PS5 license change which was quietly released recently gets broken down and explained here as well, just before the news of the PS5 Linux Loader dropping! We also see a new jailbreak for PS5 working up to firmware 12.70 which requires some patience if you can spare a couple hours per run. There's also some pretty neat releases here for the PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii, and even Xbox One! Tune in and enjoy.
