About Modern Day Mirror

What happens when you follow your curiosity instead of looking for the right answer? How do you know when an unexpected nudge is worth following? And who might you become if you gave yourself permission to change your mind? The Modern Day Mirror Podcast is a curious exploration of the stories, questions, experiments, and plot twists that shape who we become. Hosted by storyteller and intuitive Cecilia Rodriguez, the show features conversations with interesting humans about the questions they’ve followed, the things they’ve reconsidered, and the unexpected turns that changed them along the way — alongside Cecilia’s own experiments in intuition, identity, creativity, faith, connection, and whatever else she can’t stop thinking about. There are no formulas for getting life right. Just stories worth sitting with, questions worth asking, and a little more room to wonder: What else might be possible?

A much more detailed recounting of the sto...

   S4E4: Paying Attention

I'm so glad I followed the nudge to grab the mic for this one, even if I was in my jammies! Before recording, I set the intention for a revelatory episode -- for both myself and the listener -- and then I let go of any ideas I had about how that was going to happen. At the prompting of my spirit guides, I talk about anorexia, the Air Force, and my cancelled wedding in this episode. I realize this makes me sound like a drama llama! S4E3: Booked & Busy

Here's the story of how inspiration and intuition made me a children's author overnight. 🤭 The Golden Paintbrush invites readers of all ages to imagine the difference their own curiosity, kindness, and creativity can make in the world. It's now available on Amazon and via the link below. Happy reading! Love, Cecilia moderndaymirror.com
