<p>We're back with a bonus athlete interview with recent PanAm Champs bronze medalist Madison Gonzalez! Join us as Madison walks us through her competition week in Peru and how she was able to get better through every round of competition. From her roots as an elite synchronized swimmer to learning four completely new sports to her move to the US modern pentathlon team, Madison's journey has been full of perseverance. Though she did not have the perfect 2026 season, Madison rose to the occasion at PanAm champs and learned how to trust herself as she competed with the best. As Madison looks towards her final competition of the year at Modern Pentathlon World Championships in China, she is excited to put together everything she's learned over the years. PanAm Championships Recap - A Podium In Peru!
<p>Podium Alert! Team USA has returned from the Pan-American Championships in Lima, Peru and we have a lot to talk about! Join Cass and Dani as they recap the action, strong performances, and ultimately podium finishes by team USA. Sending eight women and four men, the team competed on the senior relay and men's and women's individual events. The championship results will be key in determining spots at the 2027 Pan-American Games and thus Olympic qualification. Plus, we explore the benefits of a strong, supportive team, even in an individual sport and play hypotheticals for the Olympic spots up for grabs next year. Nationals Recap And A Pan Am Preview!
<p>We're back form the 2026 USAPM national championships and boy was it riveting! From a record setting field to rain delays to tight podium finishes, the competition was filled with excitement. Congratulations to the new national champions and hard fought athlete performances across the board. Join Cass and Dani as they recap the results and personal takeaways from the entire day. With a lot of new faces in the field the national standings shook up a bit and the future of modern pentathlon looks bright! From there the multisport chatter continues as we preview the upcoming PanAmerican championships taking place in Lima, Peru. With a field of strong competitors, the championships will be a important step for team USA towards the upcoming Olympic games.
