Mom Guilt
Innate or social construct? I say both. We have an immediate need to give the perfect life to the perfect being we give birth to. Then we always have society in our ear telling us how to raise our kids too. I don’t think mom guilt is going away, but I do think we can lessen the severity of the amount of guilt we put on ourselves. Because this perception of the ‘best’ and ‘perfect’ is just that, a perception. Anxiety and Mantras

Ashley jumps back into podcasting by kicking off an episode on anxiety and speaking on an anxiety attack she had the other day. "Facing yourself in that moment can be the scariest feeling in the world. You can have support and guidance, but no one can physically do the work for you, and it can be terrifying. The dynamic between trying to ground yourself, and not overthink about overthinking, just seems impossible, and it seems like it'll last forever."

So she talks about shifting your thoughts, reframing your mind, and putting in the work. It's messy, and it's scary, but you're the only one that can make it work. Tune in and share, especially to those that just might not understand.
