No two m/others are the same, and our goal is to prove (more times than not) most media and just as importantly social media, depictions of m/others are far from accurate. This podcast is hosted by sisters and best friends, Bethanie and Amanda; together they interview m/others of all types and backgrounds hoping to prove stereotypes wrong in a down to earth, relatable, loving and fun way. <p><strong>CONTENT WARNING: Loss of a parent.</strong></p><p>On today's episode, Bethanie and Amanda sit down with Jen and discuss her experience of losing her mother when her daughter was 18 months old. She discusses how she handled her grief while learning how to navigate parenting, she talks about her support team, traditions she has built to honor her mother and how asking for help is so important. This episode starts with tears but ends with laughter and we hope it is helpful for people who have to navigate parenting without the guidance of a parent.
