About Momarchy

Two moms. Zero filter. Tanya and Sarah met on the Hillary Clinton campaign - before marriage, before kids - bonding over spicy margaritas and campaign chaos. A decade later, a few babies in and some political burnout behind them, they're still deep in the madness of modern politics… and now the messiness of motherhood too. They couldn't find a space that spoke to politically engaged moms overwhelmed by today's extremes - so they created one.

Governor Jared Polis on Trump Tantrums, Tina Peters, and Haunted Mansions

This week, Sarah and Tanya are getting into the spooky season with a very special guest: Colorado Governor Jared Polis. They kick things off with daycare drama, the invisible mental load of childcare, how the Skylight Calendar changed their lives, and their take on the Alix Earle documentary. Then the Governor joins for rapid fire, covering Scrabble, League of Legends with his husband Marlon, and rock tumbling, followed by a tour of Colorado's haunted history: the Governor's Mansion's playful ghost, the Stanley Hotel, Cheesman Park, and what's really under DIA. In Pardon My Politics, he explains why he commuted Tina Peters' sentence, whether the President can learn to disagree better, and why he's more worried about "socialism on the right." In Make It Make Sense, they dig into free full-day kindergarten, universal preschool, paid family leave, free youth therapy, and his social media bill veto. Finally, they wrap up with his last months in office, his legacy, his advice for the next governor, and a push to get out and vote on November 3. Toddler Tips, Child Care & a Trip to Yesteryear

This week, Tanya and Sarah are going back to yesteryear. They kick things off with the cuteness of toddlers, the eternal struggle of the ponytail (and the solutions that actually work), and all things pop culture, from Instagram to the latest TV shows. Then, in a special Momarchy book club segment, they dive into Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke and unpack the book's exploration of tradwives, politics, raising kids in the age of social media, and homeschooling. They also dig into the federal Child Care and Development Fund and what's included in the draft. Finally, they wrap things up with Ask a Millennial Mom: Is there anything from the 1800s you'd bring into your modern life to make it better? Moms Gone Wild: Nudity, Politics & Pumpkin Spice

This week, Sarah and Tanya are diving into the parenting debates and fall hot takes taking over our feeds. First up: the "naked mom" debate and whether casual household nudity is about body positivity or privacy and boundaries. Then, we're talking about the Sunshine Protection Act and whether we really need to keep changing the clocks twice a year - especially with kids. On Pardon My Politics, we're breaking down Trump Accounts, before wrapping things up with a fall edition of Hot or Not, from apple picking to the never-ending school fundraiser fatigue. Grab your PSL or favorite fall drink and let's get into it!
