<p>This week, NEWS.MC TV brings you the latest stories from Monaco, beginning with a musical celebration of the Principality abroad. On July the 23rd, the Little Singers of Monaco performed in Ljubljana as part of their annual European tour. </p><p><br></p><p>As summer temperatures continue to rise, Monaco’s firefighters are strengthening their readiness for wildfire season. Since July the 23rd, crews have been carrying out weekly training exercises focused on tackling vegetation fires, protecting vulnerable buildings and coordinating emergency operations using the internationally recognised &quot;30-30-30&quot; wildfire risk assessment.</p><p><br></p><p>A cherished community hub has reopened its doors after an extensive restoration project. On July the 23rd, Monaco’s Lamartine Space welcomed residents back following 18 months of renovation caused by significant water damage. </p><p><br></p><p>Monaco’s commitment to sustainability is also giving the Stade Louis II a new legacy. Thousands of the stadium’s iconic yellow seats are being recycled instead of discarded as renovation works continue. </p><p><br></p><p>Innovation is taking to the skies as Riviera start-up Flyde prepares to revolutionise maritime logistics. Announced on July the 24th, the company plans to launch a fully electric drone delivery service for boats anchored offshore following successful trials in Port Hercule. The new system promises faster deliveries while reducing emissions across the French Riviera.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco marked World Drowning Prevention Day on July the 25th with a major public awareness event at the Rainier III Nautical Stadium. Organised by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation alongside Monaco City Hall and local emergency services, the day featured rescue demonstrations, first aid workshops and displays of specialist equipment used by firefighters, the Red Cross and the Maritime Police.</p><p><br></p><p>The Oceanographic Institute is bringing the beauty and fragility of the Mediterranean to a wider audience through a new photography exhibition.</p><p>Business leaders are also being invited to support ocean protection through a new initiative launched on July the 25th. During its annual Summer Party, the Friends of the Oceanographic Museum introduced The Circle, a corporate membership programme designed to help fund marine research, educational projects and the preservation of the museum’s unique collections.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco is investing in the future of world-class athletics with the resurfacing of the Stade Louis II running track. Work began on July the 27th to install a new high-performance surface that will maintain the venue’s World Athletics certification and ensure it continues to host elite international competitions for years to come.</p><p><br></p><p>The Principality’s renowned Cardio-Thoracic Centre is looking towards an ambitious new chapter. On July the 27th, newly appointed Deputy Chairman Professor Thierry Mesana outlined plans to strengthen the institution’s global reputation by expanding innovation in cardiac care while building on its internationally recognised clinical expertise.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco is also strengthening its international economic partnerships. <p>This week, NEWS.MC TV brings you the latest stories from Monaco, beginning with the inauguration of a new centre dedicated to improving the lives of adults with disabilities. On July the 16th, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II officially opened Delphine’s House in Annot, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Supported by the Monaco Disease Power association, the residential facility offers specialised accommodation and long-term support for people with disabilities.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco’s commitment to humanitarian aid was also on display on July the 16th, when Prince Albert II visited the Humanitarian Firefighters 06 Menton association to mark the delivery of a new refrigerated truck. The vehicle, funded largely through the generosity of the Principality, will help transport food safely to families in need across the region.</p><p><br></p><p>Music took centre stage at Fort Antoine Theatre as French pop star Styleto made her Monaco debut on July the 16th. Her performance launched Kaleido, a new initiative by the Department of Cultural Affairs designed to introduce younger audiences to live music and cultural events. The singer said she had fallen in love with the Principality and hoped to return soon.</p><p><br></p><p>Sport and tradition came together on July the 17th as Prince Albert II visited the Tour de France during its longest stage between Dole and Belfort. Continuing a tradition spanning more than three decades, the Sovereign met Tour director Christian Prudhomme and praised the enduring appeal of cycling’s greatest race while reflecting on Tadej Pogačar’s extraordinary performances this season.</p><p><br></p><p>The glamour of Monaco’s summer calendar returned on July the 18th with the 77th Monaco Red Cross Gala. Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene opened the evening with a dance before welcoming distinguished guests, including Camille Gottlieb. The prestigious charity event once again raised vital funds to support the humanitarian work of the Monaco Red Cross.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco’s rising rugby stars celebrated a major achievement on July the 20th as the Principality’s Under-18 rugby sevens team secured promotion to Europe’s top division. After finishing runners-up at the European Trophy tournament in Budapest, the young squad capped another outstanding season for Monegasque rugby.</p><p><br></p><p>A remarkable piece of Monaco’s royal history returned to the spotlight on July the 20th with the screening of a restored version of The Wedding of Monaco. Seventy years after the marriage of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly captivated the world, the documentary was shown in the Court of Honour of the Prince’s Palace following an extensive restoration based on newly discovered original film reels.</p><p><br></p><p>Monaco and Slovenia celebrated two decades of diplomatic relations on July the 22nd with commemorative events held in Ljubljana. Representing the Principality, Minister Céline Caron-Dagioni joined senior Slovenian officials for the anniversary celebrations, which highlighted the strong partnership between the two nations and featured a performance by the Little Singers of Monaco.</p><p><br></p><p>This week, NEWS.MC TV is joined by Marguerite Boffa, founder of Baletu Arte Jazz Monaco.
