Camp Cooking, Classic TV & America's Oldest Leaders

This week on the More Donut Podcast, we're all over the map—in the best way possible. We kick things off by talking about an incredible weekend camping with lifelong friends, the memories that keep bringing us back year after year, and a camp cooking competition that had everyone convinced they were the campground's next master chef. Then we switch gears and dive into the upcoming Little House on the Prairie reboot. Can a classic like that still work today, or are some stories better left as they were? Finally, we tackle one of the biggest conversations in American politics: Is Congress simply getting too old? We look at the ages of today's lawmakers, discuss whether experience outweighs youth, and ask if it's time for a new generation to take the reins—or if wisdom really does come with age. As always, it's a laid-back conversation full of stories, laughs, nostalgia, and a few thought-provoking debates. 👍 If you enjoy honest conversations about life, current events, history, and everything in between, be sure to like, subscribe, and join us every week on the More Donut Podcast!

Supergirl, Sports Drama & Explosive Headlines

This week on the More Donut Podcast, I flew solo for the first time and covered a little bit of everything from one of the busiest weekends of the year. I talked about what it's like working through the holiday weekend while everyone else is out celebrating, and shared my thoughts on the new Supergirl movie, its opening at the box office, and whether superhero movies are starting to lose some of their magic. From there, I discussed the controversy surrounding Stephen A. Smith's comments about the Los Angeles Lakers, where he suggested the team can't win with "all white dudes" on the roster, and what comments like that mean in today's sports world. To wrap things up, I reacted to the incredible videos of fireworks warehouses exploding, the chaos that followed, and why fireworks always seem to find a way into the headlines every summer. It's a fun, laid-back conversation covering movies, sports, current events, and whatever else happened to cross my mind. Grab a drink, relax, and thanks for hanging out with me for my very first solo episode of the More Donut Podcast!
