Live Love Lead • When Appearance Replaces Fruitfulness

There is a difference between producing fruit and producing foliage, and God is not interested in the leaves. In Matthew 21, Jesus cursed a fig tree that was full of leaves but had no fruit. Because fig trees produce their leaves and fruit at the same time, a leafy tree with no fruit was not just disappointing. It was deceptive. The same can be true of us when we maintain the appearance of spiritual health while our hearts are somewhere else entirely. God is calling us to genuine fruitfulness, not just the right exterior. That kind of fruit only comes through real collaboration with the Holy Spirit. The invitation is to stay yoked to Jesus, stay honest before Him, and trust that He is faithful to produce what He has promised.

In this message you'll discover:

Why Jesus cursed the fig tree in Matthew 21

The difference between spiritual fruit and outward appearances

What it means to be Christ's ambassador

How to collaborate with the Holy Spirit every day

Why abiding in Jesus produces lasting fruit

Practical ways to grow in faith, surrender, and spiritual maturity

Scripture References:

2 Corinthians 5:20

Matthew 21:18-22

Matthew 11:28-30

Genesis 3

John 15

Live Love Lead | Turn Over the Tables

What tables would Jesus turn over in your life? In this powerful Bible message, we explore Jesus' first public words: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17). Through the lives of David, Samson, Saul, and Billy Graham, this sermon reveals how small compromises can grow into spiritual blindness—and how genuine repentance restores our walk with God. Discover why Jesus cleansed the temple in Matthew 21:12-14, what it means to become a fully devoted follower of Christ, and why repentance is not condemnation but an invitation to freedom and renewed purpose. Bible passages featured: Matthew 4:17-22 Matthew 21:12-14 Psalm 51 Acts 13:22 2 Samuel 11-12 Judges 13-16 Revelation 3:15-19 2 Chronicles 7:14 Key Topics: Repentance and spiritual renewal Hidden sin and compromise Following Jesus wholeheartedly The life of King David Samson and spiritual compromise Saul's partial obedience Cleansing the temple Biblical discipleship Christian living Faith, holiness, and restoration 🙏 If this message encouraged or challenged you, consider liking, subscribing, and sharing it with someone who needs hope and biblical truth today.

Live Love Lead | The One Thing Every Disciple Must Carry

What does it really mean to love like Jesus? It starts with humility, a willingness to serve, and the courage to get into the mess of life with other people. In John 13, Jesus took a towel and washed His disciples' feet, then told them to do the same for one another. That moment was not just a lesson in manners. It was a blueprint for how the kingdom of God actually works.

In the kingdom of God, greatness is not measured by platforms, titles, or influence. It is measured by service. The servant is always the greatest, not the one being served. Grabbing a towel means being willing to show up for people who are broken, being patient with people who are still growing, and being present for people who have never experienced genuine love.

Ephesians 5 gives us a picture of what this love looks like in covenant relationship. Christ gave Himself for the church so that He could present her holy and without blemish. That sacrificial, sanctifying love is the model for how we are called to treat one another. And it traces all the way back to Genesis, where the story of Adam and Eve foreshadows the relationship between Christ and His bride, the church.

First Corinthians 13 makes it clear that without agape love, everything else we do is empty. Gifts, prophecy, faith, and knowledge are all good things, but if they are not rooted in genuine love, they produce no lasting fruit. God is not impressed by what we do. He is moved by why we do it.

In John 21, Jesus asked Peter three times whether he loved Him. Each time, the answer led to the same instruction: feed My sheep. Loving Jesus is not a private feeling. It is a commission to serve the people around us.

Topics covered include servant leadership, agape love, the meaning of Ephesians 5, the connection between the Garden of Eden and the cross, 1 Corinthians 13 in everyday life, and what it practically looks like to love others the way Christ loves us.
