Motherwell Fans Have Had Enough? We React To Your Brutal Comments
This is Motherwell Daft - Powered by Pie Sports - https://piesports.com/ (https://piesports.com/)
Motherwell Daft returns to tackle the growing concerns around Motherwell’s alarming dip in form, with Peter and Crofty reacting directly to listeners' comments following another frustrating defeat.
From questions over Alfred’s tactics and team selection to concerns about confidence, work rate and leadership on the pitch, the duo debate whether the current slump is simply a rough patch or the start of something more serious. They also discuss the renewed scrutiny on key players, the pressure building on the manager, and why patience may still be the best approach despite the growing unrest among supporters.
Later in the episode, they welcome lifelong Motherwell supporter and author Steve Young to discuss his fascinating new book, Well Beyond Scotland, which uncovers the incredible story of Motherwell's pioneering overseas tours during the 1920s and 1930s. From beating Real Madrid in Spain to helping shape football's development across the world, the conversation reveals a remarkable chapter of the club's history that many supporters may never have heard before

Stephen Craigan, Former Captain, Motherwell FC
“As someone who had the honour of wearing the claret and amber for so many years, and captaining this great club through some of its most challenging and defining moments, it fills me with pride to reflect on the remarkable story told in these pages.
The adventures of Motherwell’s footballers in the 1920s and 1930s are truly inspiring. Their victory over Real Madrid to win the King’s Cup, a special version of the Copa del Rey, is rightly celebrated, but it’s just one chapter in a story defined by ambition and belief.
This was a team that filled stadiums in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Paris, Rio de Janeiro and Johannesburg, travelling the globe to take on and defeat some of the biggest names in world football. It was a glorious era for the club.
This history is a reminder of what the club stands for – ambition, resilience and pride in representing the people of Motherwell. It’s something that has been carried through every generation and continues to inspire those who wear the shirt today.”
