Continuing in his series through 2nd Peter, Elder Lowrance reminds us that God is still able to deliver the His people from troubles and judge the evil things that happen int he world. Yet we are still called upon to beware of false prophets and teachers. In this sermon, we learn how drastically different the character and motivation of false and true teachers is. The key thing to understand is that false teachers take from the children of God and true teachers give in love.

“The Lord Knoweth How” • 2nd Peter 2:4-9 - Elder Bryce Lowrance
The second chapter of this epistle is a warning to beware of false prophets. Very often people will look at this portion of scripture and decide its their job to decide who is a child of God and who is not. That is not Peter’s purpose. In fact, Peter shows that only God knows how to judge the ungodly and deliver the righteous.
