We're Back — and Talking About Something That Changes Everything | Holistic Discipleship Pt. 1
This is Part 1 of a four-part series on holistic discipleship — what it actually looks like for Jesus to be at home in every part of your life. Not just the parts you show people on Sunday.Guy and Kelli walk through what it means for Christ to be formed in us (Galatians 4:19 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNzJqvTnWkM&t=259s)), why discipleship is about way more than knowing the right things, and how to honestly assess where you are in the process, without shame, without guilt, without pretending. They also go through the four stages of emotional maturity:→ Emotional infant — looks to others to meet every need without realizing it→ Emotional child — seems fine until things go sideways→ Emotional adolescent — knows how to act mature but struggles under pressure→ Emotional adult — secure, others-focused, nothing to proveYou might recognize yourself in one of those. That’s kind of the point. This series isn’t about self-improvement or getting your act together. It’s about what happens when you actually let God into the rooms you’ve been keeping closed.🎙️ Hosted by Guy & Kelli Caskey | The M4 Network & Caskey Collective📖 Guy’s book: Making Him LORD https://a.co/d/03znfH7h (https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUZZTVljSGhXSmpKLWdDeWF1cjdFUVBuZ05jRHxBSTVJdTV0OEQzd3I2cE1Mb2REQlN6SVJqV3d5NTNLUDBnT0RhRUIwT2l4b2Y5WXBHdzlTVF93Zm15WEVHbk5zdWF6WGpTalJkT01EblJ2MElHcmhIVzNyQUlZZGNUYUMwbFhU&q=https%3A%2F%2Fa.co%2Fd%2F03znfH7h&v=oNzJqvTnWkM)🌐 More at m4network.com🔔 Subscribe so you catch all four parts of this series.💬 Discussion question in the comments: Why do you think some people can know scripture really well but still be emotionally and relationally immature?📝 SHOW NOTES:*The Four Stages of Emotional Maturity:*🔴 Emotional Infant — Primarily looks to others to care for them. Struggles to understand and express emotions. Often seeks immediate gratification without realizing how their actions affect others.🟡 Emotional Child — Appears healthy when life is going well, but disappointment or conflict quickly exposes instability. Takes disagreement personally.🟠 Emotional Adolescent — Knows how mature people are supposed to act but gets defensive under criticism. May withdraw, complain, or keep score in relationships.🟢 Emotional Adult — Loves and respects others without needing to change or control them. Accepts responsibility for their own thoughts, emotions, and responses. Nothing to prove because they know they are deeply loved by Christ.*Discussion Questions:*1. Why is discipleship about more than Bible knowledge?2. What does maturity actually look like — and how do we measure it?3. Why do some believers know scripture but remain emotionally and relationally immature?4. How does Jesus restore every part of our lives — and what rooms have we kept closed to him?5. Have you had a grace awakening that has led to holistic change and transformation in your life?*Key Verses:*

Holistic Discipleship Pt. 1 — Becoming Whole in Christ
We're back after a summer break and jumping into something we've wanted to talk about for a while.
This is Part 1 of a four-part series on what it looks like for Jesus to actually be Lord of your whole life — your emotions, your relationships, your secret places, all of it. Not just the parts that look good from the outside.
Guy and Kelli talk about the difference between transformation and information, introduce the four stages of emotional maturity, and get honest about how hard it is to look in the mirror and see where you actually are — not where you think you are.
Grace accepts you where you are. Truth shows you where you are. And together, they move you somewhere better. That's what this series is about.
