Multiply Church exists to glorify God through multiplying disciples among our neighbors and the nations. We are a local church in Hazel Green, Alabama.
What do you do when you’ve taken the faithful step, but the outcome is no longer in your hands? Ruth 3 begins with Naomi seeking rest for Ruth and ends with Ruth waiting because her redeemer is at work. Along the way, Ruth learns to recognize the redeemer God has provided, run to him for refuge, and trust him to accomplish what she cannot. Her story points beyond Boaz to Jesus, the greater Redeemer who came near, paid the price for our redemption with His own blood, and finished the work necessary to bring sinners home to God.
Recognize Jesus as your Redeemer, run to Him with your need, and learn to rest in His finished work, trusting His character and provision even when you’re still waiting to see what He will do.

Ruth | The God Who Pursues, Protects, and Provides (Ruth 2) | John Baker
What do you do when you don’t know how things are going to work out? Ruth enters a field trying to find enough food to survive. She has no idea that the field belongs to Boaz or that what looks like an ordinary day is part of God’s extraordinary plan of redemption. Ruth 2 reminds us that God is often at work long before we can see it, faithfully pursuing, protecting, and providing for His people through ordinary circumstances and ordinary acts of faithfulness.
The clearest proof of God’s care isn’t ultimately found in a barley field in Bethlehem, but in Jesus, the Redeemer born in Bethlehem who gave Himself for us. Because God has pursued us in Christ, we can do the next faithful thing, use what He has given us for the good of others, and trust Him with the outcomes we can't control.

Ruth | When God Seems Distant (Ruth 1) | John Baker
What do you do when God seems distant and the story of your life feels empty, uncertain, or unfinished?
Ruth 1 reminds us that God’s apparent silence is not His absence. Through devastating loss, Ruth’s costly faithfulness, and Naomi’s despair, we see a God whose steadfast love is at work through ordinary people and circumstances. What Naomi could only see as emptiness, God was already weaving into a story of redemption that would ultimately lead to Jesus.
The same God who was faithful to Ruth and Naomi is still trustworthy when we can't see what He's doing.
