Murhapodin kolmas jakso aloittaa kolmiosaisen sarjan, joka käsittelee Irlannin Leinsterin provinssissa 90-luvulla tapahtuneita naisten katoamisia. Ensimmäisessä jaksossa käsitellään 27-vuotiaan Annie McCarrickin, 39-vuotiaan Eva Brennanin sekä 22-vuotiaan Imelda Keenanin tapaukset.

Päivä oli ollut hiostavan kuuma, se oli kesän mahdollisesti viimeisiä lämpimiä päiviä. Oli perjantai ja Sarah Murray oli ollut viettämässä iltaa ulkona kun hän saapuu taksilla kolmen ystävänsä kanssa kotikadulleen. Kello on noin puoli yksi aamuyöstä kun he nousevat taksista ja Sarah huomaa lyhyen matkan päässä jalkakäytävällä makaavan mytyn. Pian hän juoksee paikalle sillä hän on tunnistanut mytyn olevan hänen nuorempi siskonsa, vain 17-vuotias Raonaid, joka makaa verisenä maassa.
