自分にとっての最適解は、自身の経験からしか生まれない
＊この内容は、過去のnoteでもお話しています＾＾ https://note.com/muromii/n/nc115d96628ea 今年から毎日2,3時間英語の勉強をしているけれど、勉強法についてはよく悩んだ。 「どうすれば、最短で効率よく英語を身につけられるんだろう？」 そんなことばかり考えては、効率的な勉強法についてネットで探し回っては、結局調べるだけで１日が終わるなんてことも多かった。 今週末も、いつものように英語の勉強をしていたときに、ある新しい勉強法が目に留まった。それは、これまでしていた勉強法よりも、明らかに良いもので、数日間取り組んでみることにした。 「もっと前からこの勉強法を知っていれば良かったのに…」 私は、強い後悔を感じた。多分前からこの勉強法を知っていれば、私は早く結果を出すことができたのかもしれない。。 そんなことを思っていた時に、ふと野球選手のイチローのあるインタビューが目に留まった。 「遠回りすることってすごく大事。僕は無駄に飛びついてる訳ではないけど、後から思うとすごく無駄だったと思うことって、すごく大事だと思います。遠回りすることが一番近道だと信じて、僕はやっていますね。」 イチローだって、後から考えたら無駄だったと思うことがあるんだ…！と、まずそこに衝撃を受けたけれど…。 色々な経験をしたからこそ、自分にとって最もベストな最適解を見つけられるのだろうなと思った。むしろ知識が沢山あって頭でっかちになったとしても、経験がなければ、自分にとっての正解を見つけ出すことはできない。 ＊＊ 今の時代は情報が多すぎて、どうしたら最短で結果につながるのか？ということばかり考えてしまうが多い。でもそうすると、結局どれが一番いいのか分からなくて行動に移せなくなる、ということもあると思う。 きっと、自分にとっての最適解は、周りからの情報からではなく、自分の経験値からしか生まれないのだろうなと思った。そして、後から振り返れば、「無駄だったな〜」と感じることでも、それは自分にとって最もベストな最適解を見つけるために必要不可欠な経験だと思う。
