No matter where one is on their faith journey, MVP Message seeks to provide support and nurture each other in our spiritual growth, faith formation, and daily lives through authentic worship, different small groups, opportunities to serve, a call to action for justice, and spaces to experience community.
Who has given you the gift of being seen? Not simply noticed, but truly seen? Who has looked beyond the surface to recognize something in you that perhaps you couldn’t yet see in yourself? And what difference did their seeing make?
Most of us can name someone whose belief in us changed something. Someone who recognized our gifts, listened to the deepest parts of our souls, and helped us imagine who we might become. When someone sees us this way, we often find ourselves wanting to grow into the fullness of what they have seen in us. What if this is also true of our relationship with God?
Psalm 139 is one of Scripture’s most beautiful expressions of what it means to be fully known by God. God knows our thoughts, our ways, our fears, and our longings. Nothing about us is hidden, and yet this knowing is not something to fear. It is an invitation to draw closer to the One who sees us completely and loves us still.
As our worship series, Generosity: The Art of Living, continues, join us as we explore the gift of being seen. We will also celebrate the 17th Anniversary of our becoming a member of the Reconciling Ministries Network, and give thanks for the ministry of Timothy Nelson before he departs as our Director of Music.

What if generosity is about far more than what we give away?
Join us this week as we begin a new worship series inspired by the New York Times Bestseller, Theo of Golden, in which we will consider generosity as a way of seeing, living, and loving. Together, we will explore what it means to recognize the gifts in others, receive the blessing of being seen, claim and share our belovedness, invest in what matters, become unexpected bearers of grace, and discover the joy that comes when our embodied generosity transforms lives. Each week we’ll ask not simply, “What can I give?,” but “What kind of world can my generosity help create?”

Staying on the Path || Lessons from the Wilderness
What do we do when the way forward is uncertain and we are tired of waiting for an answer? This week, we find the Israelites in exactly that place. When Moses delays on the mountain, fear and impatience take hold, and the people turn toward something visible, certain, and manageable—a golden calf. This failure is not the end of the story, but it does leave us pondering the question: What happens when fear leads us down paths that cannot take us where we hope to go?
Join us this week as we conclude our journey into the wilderness and through Exodus—remembering that God’s mercy can still call us back, that the God who brought us out is still leading us away from bondage, and that the path of freedom is still before us.
