אלפי מכתבי תמיכה מרחבי העולם הגיעו אל הצריף הקטן שאליו הוגלתה בסיביר, וסיפור חייה אף הונצח בשיר שהקדישה לה נעמי שמר. אידה נודל הייתה בכלל כלכלנית שקדנית במשך רוב ימי חייה, עד שרדיפת היהודים בברית המועצות הפכה אותה לקול האמיץ והאייקוני של דורות של יהודים שחלמו על ציון.בפרק החמישי של ״מוזות״ תשרטט מאיה קוסובר קווים לדמותה של אידה נודל – האישה שזכורה כ״מלאך של אסירי ציון״, ושהמאבק לשחרורה ולעלייתה ארצה רתם אליו את העולם היהודי כולו.

עמנואל לוינס היה סטודנט צעיר ומבריק לפילוסופיה כשגילה שכל התאוריות אשר גמא בשקיקה חדלו להיות רלוונטיות בִּן־לילה. המורה הנערץ עליו, מרטין היידגר, הצטרף למפלגה הנאצית ולוינס נכלא במחנה עבודה. שם הוא מצא את עצמו כותב פילוסופיה חדשה המתנגדת לזו של המורה שלו ומתעקשת לדבוק בחמלה בעולם שטוף שנאה.בפרק הרביעי של ״מוזות״ מאיה קוסובר חוזרת אל מחברות השבי של לוינס, ואל רגעי ההולדת של המהפכה הפילוסופית שחולל.אמן אורח: קובי מידן
