Sorry for the extended hiatus. I promise some more episodes will be coming in the next few weeks. Happy Boxing Day. Or is it Merry Boxing Day?

Highway - Episode 14
My BFF, Highway, joins me this week. BTW: My new name is now Dorkus Milorcus.
We talked about our favorite sports team, our journeys through life, and where we're at today. Oh, and we talk about some of Highway's favorite music.
I'm so happy to have Highway as a BFF and am so happy we got to chat today.

Episode 13 - Amir
Lucky number 13! This week I'm joined by my work boyfriend (with intentions of making him my work husband after our date this weekend), Amir.
We talk about where we work (and how certain people have touched our lives), coming out as a gay black man, the gentrification of San Francisco, music (of course), and other random shit.

Episode 12 - Highway Teaser
Next week I'll have one of my best friends on the podcast. Apparently he didn't realize that I sent him a message to start preparing.
Go, Brewers!

Episode 11 - Mada: Part II
In this episode, I speak with Mada about kitty litter, winning a Daft Punk album from a radio station, not being "that guy" at a DJ set or tribute band show (with a public apology to Darwin and the rest of Temptation - A Tribute To New Order), DJ Honda, how music saved Mada's life, it's okay to cry, and racial stereotypes.

Episode 10 - Rick Astley Rocks!
When Rick Astley's 'Together Forever' comes on while you're talking with a future guest about their playlist you record a short episode.
Thanks, everyone, for getting the podcast up to #85 in Comedy.
Part 2 of my chat with Mada will be released early next week. Stay tuned.

Episode 9 - Mada: Part I
Unlike J.J. Abrams, I have a title for my ninth episode.
This week, I'm joined by Mada. We discuss a whole range of random stuff in this episode. She talks about how fucked up our country is right now, how Portishead saved her life, and her hatred of lettuce in burritos.

Episode 8 - Sometimes You Have To Laugh At Yourself
A little mini-episode, highlighted by seeing three great tribute bands last night - Temptation (New Order), Erasure-esque (duh, Erasure), and Truth or Dare (another duh, Madonna). They'll all be performing again at The Ritz in San Jose, CA on 2/1/19. Definitely worth checking out.
Thought for the day: Try not to be an asshole. We have enough of them in this world already. Thanks!

Episode 7 - Please Don't Be Afraid to Ask for Help!
Working on getting a guest for the next episode. In the meantime, I wanted to briefly talk about mental health and addiction.
If you are struggling, please don't be afraid to reach out for help. There are plenty of people who have gone through what you are going through. It doesn't matter if you've relapsed or are feeling suicidal, there's help. Don't be ashamed to ask.

Episode 6 - Garrett Collins
In this episode I speak with classically-trained pianist, Garrett Collins. Garrett talks about his upbringing, living in Paris, his work to help the homeless, and some spiritual aspects that he has implemented in his time.
And we have to break out some show tunes.

My Friend's Music Episode V: The Stephanie Strikes Back
An ode to my favorite Star Wars movie, and quite possibly my favorite episode I have done between Waste of Your Time and My Friend's Music.
I speak with Stephanie this episode about mental illness, her work in theater, and Disney music with a heavy metal twist (trust me, it's great!).
I can not begin to thank Stephanie enough about her willingness to talk with me about her struggles with mental illness and her ability to overcome the obstacles that it presents.
Please reach out to someone if you are going through a hard time right now. Just remember: You are worth it!

Episode 4 - Melissa and Karley
This week I speak with Melissa and her daughter, Karley. We discuss their mutual love for the Foo Fighters and some of the shows they have attended together. We also talk about some of the musicians we have lost too soon.
Note: Recording levels were a little off this week. Sorry about that. I promise they’ll be better next week. The joys of podcasting again is remembering everything I need to do before recording.

Episode 2 - Sarah: Part I
First part of a two-part episode with my friend, Sarah. In this episode, we talk about Sarah's early influences, meeting through MySpace and turning her on to my first podcast, some shows we have attended and her love of U2.
Let's make this a Top 10! If you enjoy this episode please share it on your social media pages.

Episode 1 - David
Welcome to my podcast! I reminisce about how I got to where I am today through music.
My friends will be joining me in the coming weeks so you only have to listen to me yap incessantly one time. In this episode, I talk about growing up as a "latch key kid" and a "Gen-Xer."
Enjoy!
