Desmond R. Singh pastors Gospel Assembly Church in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, serving the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and northern New York State. He is an internationally recognized leader in the Body of Christ. Pastor Singh views the role of the church as producing overcomers for the Kingdom of God.
In Stephen's Amazing Example, Brother Desmond R. Singh draws a compelling connection between William Sowders, whose ministry helped launch a spiritual movement, and Stephen, the first martyr of the New Testament church. Both accounts remind us of the importance of a genuine work of God—and the danger of letting human reasoning and religious tradition replace the Holy Spirit's leading. Stephen's courage and faithfulness challenge us to look beyond outward appearances and examine our own spiritual lives. Are we preserving a religious tradition, or remaining faithful to the God who first called us?
