S2Ep10: "Maeve Bandt" Slow Down ~ Smell The Roses

Join me and my EOC Soul Sista Maeve Bandt as we discuss our respective healing journeys and evolution of our experiences with Animal Communication! Maeve is a Body Worker, BTMM Apprentice Trainer, Lazaris Nerve Release Practitioner, owner of Frankly Sound Equine and founder of The Holistic Horse Collective. In this episode we start by talking about Maeve's journey with animal communication including a significant moment with her childhood dog, Ella, that first opened her intuitive connection with animals. We also dive deep into Maeve's Passion Project "The Holistic Horse Collective" that she was inspired to create after attending the Elements of Connection three years ago, where we first met! The Holistic Horse Collective is an educational platform focused on whole horse care and holistic approaches to equine wellness. Maeve describes how the platform has evolved, ultimately becoming a collaborative effort featuring various equine professionals that emphasizes the importance of thinking critically and addressing root causes rather than relying on quick fixes or just treating symptoms. The platform launched in November 2024 and includes a private Facebook group, a collective online classroom with so much educational content, and a free resource section with downloadable materials. Maeve connects veterinarians, farriers, trainers and horse owners with this comprehensive resource for holistic horse care that balances scientific and spiritual approaches. We then shift to the Animal Communication side of things and Maeve shares about her spiritual connection with a horse named Rose and how she intuitively felt the horse was meant for her. The story evolves with a seemingly miraculous sign on an Animal Communicator friends computer showing a rose graphic art, which convinced Maeve to approach the horse's owner about a trade arrangement...tune in to find out what happened next! S2Ep9: "Rachel Buckle" Listening to Your Animal's Innate Wisdom

Host Jordan Banks and guest Rachel Buckle of "Messages From Within" first met in a four-month Animal Communication and Energy Healing Course two-years-ago. In this episode they meet again to discuss what has unfolded in Rachel's journey into animal communication since being a part of Felicity Davies' "Intuitive Equestrian" program together. Rachel shares how understanding her "claires" and unique way of receiving Animal Communication messages helped her build trust in the messages she was receiving and stresses the importance of not comparing yourself to others when learning how to communicate with animals. Starting with Yes or No questions and later expanding the depth of your questions once you have started to trust in your abilities is a tactic that Rachel says helped her on her own path. She explains how letting go of your logical mind allows the information to come through more easily. Rachel started her Instagram page "Messages From Within" as a way to share the messages she was getting in her sessions with a wider audience (with client permission) and expressed that animals have innate wisdom and are passionate about sharing it freely. "You can choose to go to therapy, or you can listen to your animals," she said, explaining the depth of the information they share. We also discuss how listening to your animals requires you to drop your ego and any "masks" or "pretending" you might be doing. Because pretending confuses your horse and erodes their trust. Horses want us to show up as we are she said. Rachel and I then dive into the heartbreaking experience she had with her most recent horse Archie who's time with her was brief because at 6-years-old he was diagnosed with <a href= "https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-e&channel=entpr&q=Equine+Complex+Vertebral+Malformation&mstk=AUtExfDCjmsRzBdwS9WukspK4xhSQj-7FSEYCzRtsMdVB9qd1ShzZ9fMKTCLYA_DKA4j6re1KbiMemfoD7ptcbxbtthwYQIWVBf3Ve6kd3J4PHr2T0sAVFIBYBProwOdAWMSoxM&csui=3&ved=2ahUKEwiltvL8rOyTAxUIMjQIHVhhFtkQgK4QegYIAQgAEAM" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Equine Complex Vertebral Malformation</a> (ECVM) a congenital and likely genetic condition involving malformation of the 6th (C6) and sometimes 7th (C7) cervical vertebrae. ECVM frequently causes chronic pain, behavioral issues and training difficulties in horses. Thankfully, Rachel was paying attention and noticed the signs early. We talk about ways to "be" with a horse when riding is not an option and how "holding space" for your horse to go into a meditative state allows them to do some of their own "healing" work that you may not even realize they are doing. Rachel shares how she developed a simple yes/no communication system with Archie using eye blinks, which helped establish a two-way flow of information between them that she utilized on a day-to-day basis. The funny part of this story is she started this process with her eyes closed using a "sway" test, but then discovered Archie wanted her eyes open because his "yes" was a blink! Rachel reflects on her experience with Archie as a privilege and a testament to the importance of listening to and trusting her intuition in their relationship, as his "issues" that developed under saddle had a real physical reason behind them that many in the horse world may have just tried to work him through. Rachel is now navigating her path forward through the grief in honor of Archie and explains how she's using "connection" to help her in this process. All of this and so much more!
