Welcome to the My Ministry Mission podcast where faith's transformative power comes to life. Sit back and relax as we dive into God’s Word together, finding hope, guidance, and inspiration for our lives. God has placed a calling to ministry in my heart, and I’m answering that call, sharing my journey of faith, tackling tough questions, and encouraging you to live boldly for Christ. So, I hope you’re ready to ignite your spiritual flames! My name is Jason, and this is my mission!
What happens when a character an author built to represent Christ gets reshaped into something the author never intended? In this episode, I walk through why C.S. Lewis wrote the Chronicles of Narnia the way he did, how he slipped past the "watchful dragons" of childhood religious instruction, and the deliberate gospel imagery woven through all seven books. We take a close look at Aslan as Lewis originally wrote him, and we explore Scriptures like Revelation 5:5 and John 10:17-18 along the way.
I also share my own convictions about Netflix's upcoming adaptation, and how we can contend for the faith with gentleness and respect, as 1 Peter 3:15 urges. Join me as we defend the beauty of Lewis's original vision.

Read It Again: The Verse That Became an Excuse (Ep 189)
In this fifth episode of Read It Again, I take on one of the most quoted lines in the Bible: "Judge not, lest ye be judged." It gets used to shut down conversations before they start, but Jesus didn't stop at verse one. In Matthew 7:1-5, he goes on to talk about specks, planks, and hypocrisy, and what he says completely reshapes how we should hear that opening line. I walk through what the Greek word for judge actually means, why Paul expects the church to evaluate behavior in 1 Corinthians 5:12, and what real accountability looks like when it comes from humility instead of superiority. If you've ever had this verse used against you, or used it yourself, tune in and let's set the record straight together.

The Kingdom Perspective with Cameron Garner (Ep 188)
In this episode, I sit down with Cameron Garner, a traveling minister and revivalist who has spent more than 13 years equipping ordinary believers to walk in the full reality of who they are in Christ. Cameron unpacks what it actually means to be kingdom-minded, why most believers never move from knowing their identity in Christ to actually living from it, and why Romans 12:2 is the practical bridge between the two. We also dig into prayer and why Scripture models speaking and declaring rather than begging and pleading. Cameron also shares how his family moved to Puerto Rico by faith and how his R.I.O.T. School is giving students an immersive, hands-on experience in kingdom living. If you have ever sensed there is more available to you in your faith than you are currently experiencing, this conversation is for you.
