Mark ran as an independent candidate for President of the United States in 2020 with a vision of building a nation where "We the people" actually means ALL the people.

Remembering 9/11, Decentering Trump (with a prayer) and Decolonizing Health with NEAT
Yá'át'ééh my relatives. In this weeks episode of My Second Cup of Coffee, I begin with a short reflection on the complex history of 09/11 and then de-center the chaotic rhetoric of President Trump (with a prayer) so we can focus our conversation on walking in beauty. I share the foundation of my journey to Decolonize Health, exploring how small, daily movements (NEAT) transformed my physical health without diets or gyms memberships. We then wrap up with the Navajo word for cell phone (first taught to me by an elder while living in our Hogan) which describes our modern digital habits a little too well. :-)
