New York-based record label, podcast, and event series. 2011-present.
Mysteries, as fans lovingly call it, is concerned with the exploration of sound, and seeks to thoughtfully engage our listeners. Originally conceptualized as a podcast focused on ambient and experimental music, the project has since expanded into a record label and global event series.

deep glens is the solo project of producer and engineer Brett Bullion. Autechre featured his tracks on their bbc 6 music residency and brought him along for four dates of their 2025 North American tour. He has a killer new album "Carver," built from hundreds of spliced tape loops, cut up and recombined somewhere between chance and intention.

Mysteries of the Deep – Joan Gila
Mysteries of the Deep Podcast, Chapter 154 by @joan-gila. Recorded live at Springkell 2025.
'The premise of this DJ set was simple: to play exclusively from my personal collection of vinyl records and digitized CDs. So I packed a suitcase with them and flew to Springkell.
Since we were in Scotland, the set begins with inspiration drawn from the landscape and the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, as you can hear in the spoken-word snippet from Alex Harvey’s 1977 LP. From there, it gradually evolves into a less conceptual and more sensory journey, blending and layering sounds to create a continuous thread throughout.
The selection explores electroacoustic music, minimalism, musique concrète, and drone, with very little recent material. Many works lie hidden beneath the surface, but by digging layer by layer, you uncover true gems you didn’t even know existed. Long live the marvelous art of digging.'
