The USS Kidd Drone Swarms – Who Surrounded the Warships (2019)
In July 2019, several U.S. Navy destroyers off Southern California, including the USS Kidd, reported repeated encounters with unidentified aerial objects described in official records as UAVs or drones. The objects appeared over multiple nights, sometimes in groups, and remained close enough to trigger observation teams and counter-drone measures.
