Thermostat Wars, AI Gripes & Is BioWare Dead?

A wide-ranging, rant-filled hangout that starts with the household battle over the thermostat and cold-weather habits, then goes from shower routines to the realities of EMS resuscitation. We talk about getting older, odd family moments and accidental social-media mysteries, then get into why AI and modern tech keep making everyday life worse. Along the way: pranks, public behavior and the case for a little social shame, teenagers behind the wheel, generational complaints, and the small annoyances of mail and addresses. The big one is a deep dive into whether BioWare is dead, and what happens to studios when giant publishers like EA and Microsoft turn everything into a numbers game. We wrap up with why we hang on to old games.

   Spirit Animals and Internet Idiocy

Chris and guest Ron cover a lot of ground in this one. They start by asking whether anyone cared about a single movie this year, and whether going to the theater is still worth it. Then they trade airline horror stories (lost luggage, and nobody willing to take responsibility) and talk about why someone has to say no when safety systems fail. After a detour into old movies and niche films that are still fun to watch, they each pick the animal they'd be. In the second half they ask whether the internet is making us dumber: AI and the collapse of real learning in college, why the college-for-everyone push failed while the trades make a comeback, why younger workers seem less ready for the real world, and what happens when no one still working can find their way without GPS.
