<p>I will be touching on how discrimination/racism can affect your mental health.</p> <p>When talking about the discrimination, stigma, and racism that the people around us face we tend to only think of the physical affects and not much about how that might affect our mental health on a deeper level. The harsh words and abuse that those of different backgrounds or races tend to experience because people accuse them of an untrue incident causes the victim to experience more than just the visual physical scars. We should all care about this very important topic because it is a prominent problem occurring in our society on a day to day basis and we should not be bystanders to these kinds of acts because it is affecting all of our mental health states.
