Er studierte Journalistik an der Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal, ist Mitbegründer der Filmproduktion BLENDE 39 und arbeitete als Camera Operator, Editor und verwandten Gewerken an Kurzfilmen wie „Merry Xmess“ und „Die Brunnenfrau“, schnupperte aber auch große Setluft bei „Black Death“ mit Sean Bean und Eddie Redmayne. Neben Auftragsproduktionen im Werbe- und Infofilmbereich, gehörten auch ambitionierte Projekte wie die Web-Serie „Großbreitenbach“ (Stand März 2026) zum Brot-und-Butter-Geschäft.
