<p>Zwei wenig bekannte B-Actioner aus Australien stehen in dieser Folge auf dem Programm, beide gleichzeitig gedreht und 1988 kurz nacheinander veröffentlicht. Hauptdarsteller Edward John Stazak war trotz athletischer Fähigkeiten und gockelhaftem Macho-Gehabe kein großer Ruhm zuteil und ist heute weitestgehend unbekannt. Regisseur Brian Trenchard-Smith hingegen dürfte halbwegs aufmerksamen Hörern unseres Podcasts von der "Mann von Hongkong"- und der "Omega Code"-Folge ein Begriff sein und erfreut sich unter B-Movie-Fans allgemein ziemlicher Beliebtheit. Ob er aber auch fähig ist, einen zünftigen 80s-Prügel-Actionfilm zu inszenieren, werden Markus und Martin in dieser Folge heraus finden. <p>Lang schon stand die Drohung im Raum, nun ist sie wahr geworden: Wir - das sind in diesem Falle Martin und der speziell für dieses Thema zurück gekehrte Sergej - reden über Ryo Saeba, besser bekannt als "City Hunter", ein ballerfreudiger und permanent notgeiler Söldner, Bodyguard und Privatdetektiv, der für Sergej im prägenden Alter Stilikone und Coolness-Vorbild darstellte. Gesprochen wird über die ganze Bandbreite des Themas, die Anime-TV-Serie, die Filme und TV-Specials, kurz auch über den Manga, die Realverfilmungen und das Videospiel. Trotz üppiger Gesprächszeit glaubt Sergej übrigens noch immer, nicht alles Relevante erwähnt und diskutiert zu haben.
